Dr.
Johnson believes that counseling helps people to make significant,
positive changes in their lives. The therapy process allows individuals
to develop a better understanding of their actions, thoughts, and
feelings. This exploration allows individuals to make changes in their
lives to improve any number of areas. Each individual has a unique
history and specific way of interacting with the world, and different
types of therapy can be used to tailor to each set of needs. She uses a
variety of methods and approaches to make each client's experience both
unique and productive. Sometimes just 2-3 sessions can be very
effective at targeting a specific area of concern or to improve
self-esteem after some rough months at work, and other times,
individuals choose to work for a longer period of time on more complex
or difficult issues.
